Self-propelled track measuring laboratory car SPL-ChS200
on the basis of locomotive ChS200-008
SPL-СhS200 ensures automated inspection of railway track condition (track geometry, longitudinal profile, rails and rail running surface inclination, rail head wear, equivalent conicity, corrugation) at the operating speed up to 200 km/h with a higher axial load of 19.5 tons.

It is additionally equipped with a system of catenary inspection to monitor the interaction between the pantograph and the contact wire.
