The following measuring systems are installed in the laboratory-car:
The parameters controlled by all systems are synchronized in time and referenced into the unite coordinate system (track coordinates and geographical coordinates).
ultraviolet diagnostic system of overhead line isolators;
thermal imaging diagnostic system of overhead line constructive elements;
measuring system of rail cant, alignments and short twists;
contact wire fixator position control system;
videocontrol system of contact suspension element condition;
videocontrol system of dampers and overhead line support grounding;
contact wire wear control system and contact wire hanging parameter diagnostic system.
  • automatic analysis of contact line maintenance based on the regulations, forming scorecard of contact line section estimation based on the results of measurements and visual checks;
  • binding the results of all measuring systems to the contact wire fixing points;
  • post-processing of measuring results including contact line suspension elasticity as a result of two measuring sessions with operator’s pantograph lifted up and down, comparison of measuring results at the same section of the contact line received during different measuring sessions.
Specialized software of the laboratory-car is able to realize the following:
The data of overhead line deviations are provided to be transmitted into Customer’s computerized systems remotely and automatically.

  • windscreen heating and cleaning;
  • two operator's workplaces;
  • operator’s safety in case of pantograph break.
