Integration of diagnostic systems into the passenger train Lastochka (ES2G No. 052) travelling on the Moscow Central Circle in order to obtain the most relevant data for wheel-rail interaction.
The system is a further development of IMS (information and measuring system) INFOTRANS Velaro Rus. The system is also completely autonomous and does not require the operator’s intervention. A system of data telecommunication makes an infrastructure functioning more reliable and practically eliminate a human factor.

The intelligent information management system such as data processing centre based on Big Data technology is supported.

The most up-to-date information is obtained with regards to wheel-rail interaction. More than 100 parameters are measured by the IMS INFOTRANS - Lastochka.
  • track geometry measurement (track geometry, longitudinal profile, long-wave corrugation in plane and profile, corrugation, side and vertical rail wear, inclination, equivalent conicity);
  • a system of permanent way video monitoring;
  • a spatial scanning system (a structural gauge, distances between tracks, ballast and formation boundaries;
  • a catenary monitoring complex (geometry parameters, dynamic interaction parameters, electrical parameters, thermal imaging control, video monitoring of the interaction of the pantograph and the contact wire, measurement of the support dimensions);
  • a video inspection system (track structures, attached area, bridges, platforms, protection devices, crossings);
  • remote transmission of data about dangerous violations;
  • a positioning system in track and geodetic coordinate systems.
